Aeolosoma - Invertebrate Ring logo

 Hello, and welcome to the Invertebrate Ring. This ring is dedicated to all invertebrate organisms, beautiful and plain, beneficial or pestiferous, common or rare, marine or terrestrial, that grace this planet. If you have a site about invertebrates of any kind, whether you are a professional zoologist or an amateur, whether your site is commercial or non-commercial, then this is the webring for you! Your site may be about your research interests, information for your biology class, your pet, your salt-water aquarium, your explorations under the microscope, your underwater photography, your collections, or anything else as long as you have content, drawings or photographs pertaining to invertebrates. For our purposes, we will say that invertebrates include the protozoa and all animal phyla except the vertebrates. To join the webring, your site must:

1. be about invertebrate organisms or invertebrate zoology.

2. contain no pornographic or racist content;

3. display the complete ring fragment. Your site will be taken out of the ring if it does not have the fragment displayed appropriately on the site. The ring fragment should go on the page containing the invertebrate information and not some other page, like a webrings or links page.

      Here are the basic steps for adding your site to the ring:

1. Fill out the form. You can find it by clicking here. This will add your site to the queue, and I will look your site over as soon as possible. I will then inform you by e-mail whether or not your site was accepted into the ring.

2. Copy this html fragment and paste onto your invertebrates page:

<CENTER><B><FONT FACE="Times New Roman">Click <A HREF="">here</A>
to join the ring.&nbsp;</FONT></B></CENTER>

You will also receive your HTML fragment by email.

3. Change the and YOURNAMEHERE to your valid email address and your name or screen name. Change the _site_id_here_ places to your site id, such as 11 or 203, whatever your id is.

4. Download the Invertebrate Ring image (the picture of Aeolosoma) shown above or below. If you have another image you would prefer to use, you may do so if you are willing to contribute the image to the webring for others to use as well. (Email me if you want to do this.)

5. Email me and tell me that your site is ready to be added to the ring and I'll add it as soon as possible. If you don't email me, you'll still be added eventually.

6. That's it! I will try to list your page soon.

 If you have any trouble at all with the above instructions, please email me.
