I'm always sittin' around,
Early and late,
Sittin' around,
Why do I wait?
Sittin' alone,
Gee, how the time drags by!
I'm watching the clock,
Out on the wall,
Nobody phones,
Nobody calls,
Nobody cares,
Nobody tells me why.
It seems that there is a peach somewhere
for each
Tom, Dick and Harry,
I want to know why am I so unnecessary,
Solitary!
Wasting myself,
Where can there be
Somebody else
Lonesome like me,
Waitin' for love,
Sittin' around alone!
