Utility Pole Snapped by Typhoon Omar
This is a wooden utility pole down the
street from our old apartment in Yigo. It and many other wooden poles have
been replaced by concrete poles such as the one shown on the right. During
the recent Supertyphoon Paka, even some of the concrete poles snapped.
